It is informed that from academic year 2021-2022, AICTE has launched a new scholarship scheme ÁICTE Swanath Scholarship for Students to provide financial support of Rs 50, 000 per annum to students studying in BE/B Tech/B Pharma/B Arch./Diploma/Polytechnics etc in AICTE approved institution & courses fulfilling the eligibility criterion as per scheme guidelines. The eligibility for the scholarship is as follows:
1) The candidate should be from any one of the following categories:
(i) Orphan
(ii) Either or both parents died due to Covid-19
(iii) Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
2) Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 Lakh per annum during the financial year of the application. A valid income certificate issued by the State/UT Government is to be enclosed.
3) The candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE Approved institutions and courses at Degree/ Diploma level in regular mode.

The online application form for the above scholarship may kindly be submitted by students on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of Govt of India on or before 30th November 2021 as follows:
It is requested to kindly share the above details among eligible students of your institutions studying in 1st/2nd/3rd/4th so that they may submit their online application in NSP. AICTE has also planned an interaction with the eligible students next week.
